Welcome to our Bridal Showcase Evening

I’m really excited to be collaborating with some fabulous Staffordshire wedding businesses in a few weeks’ time for our Bridal Showcase, on November 16th, right here in the building that houses my studio! We’re planning a relaxed evening for you, starting with a glass of prosecco on arrival, you’ll be able to see a variety of bridal looks on models, hear about bridal trends, visit my studio and enjoy drinks from the bar too.

The event takes place at Spout Brew House in Leek, Staffordshire, which is a quirky café and bar, perfect for a bridal showcase where you’ll feel relaxed, and can talk to suppliers one to one too, like at a wedding fair, but hopefully much more informally. My studio is on the top floor above Spout, so as well as seeing my bridal accessories as part of the show, you’ll be able to see the rest of my collection, where it’s made, and make appointments for your bridal consultation too.

Staffordshire Wedding Suppliers

This event was the idea of the lovely Emma from the bridal boutique The Bridal Quarters here in Leek. Emma will be showcasing a range of premium gowns and bridal separates on the evening, which will be styled with my handmade wedding accessories.  Bridal make up is by Elayne Moore and hair by Kerry Louise, flowers by the Tiny Florist, with Steve Sutton Photography also present on the evening. We’ll all be available to chat to you about your wedding and how we can help you style it.

Great things happen when people work together, and we can’t wait to share what we love doing with you, and send you away feeling excited with lots of inspiration for your wedding.

Wedding Colour Inspiration

An inspiring golden hued colour palette for an autumn wedding

An autumne wedding colour paletter by Judith Brown Bridal
If you are looking for inspiration for an autumn wedding you need look no further than nature itself. The trees are full of golden tones, bronzes and soft greens, flowers and berries provide hints of deep berry red. If you catch an autumn sunset you’ll see hues of muted pinks and gold. You can pick out these colours in many ways in your autumn wedding, including your wedding accessories and jewellery.

Oriana wedding crown in autumn colours

The Oriana crown is a statement wedding headpiece in a rich golden colour, with handmade wire leaves and hand beaded flowers and leaf fronds, with beads in berry reds and soft greens. To match there are the Rosella or Cora earrings. If you love this colour combination, but would prefer a different design, get in touch about a bespoke or customised design.

The Wedding Accessories Collection for Autumn 2021

I'm so excited to welcome you to this brand new website and to introduce you to my new collection of wedding accessories and bridal jewellery!

Just for Brides

Although I've been making jewellery and accessories since 2004 as Judith Brown Jewellery, earlier this year I made the exciting decision to create a new website dedicated to brides and to bring my bridal accessories to centre stage to make them shine for all to see! This launch is the fulfillment of a long held dream and the culmination of six months work.

The Collections

I make a range of handmade bridal hair accessories, including hair combs, hair pins, headpieces, hair vines and statement wedding crowns. Alongside wedding jewellery such as necklaces, earrings and bracelets to complement these pieces for brides and bridesmaids too.

A Love of Nature

My designs have been heavily influenced by my love of nature. I live in the Staffordshire Moorlands on the edge of the Peak District and regularly go out walking to photograph and savour the changing seasons with the tiny details of the plants and flowers in the hedgerows and meadows that surround me.

Handmade

All of my designs are handmade. I start with reels of wire, beautiful glass beads and pearls and create using just my hands and my favourite pliers. Unlike some other makers I don't buy in metal leaf and flower components to work into my designs, I make them all myself with wire and beads.

If you feel inspired by what you see in my collections, but it's not quite what you are looking for I offer a bespoke design service. Get in touch to make an appointment for a free bridal consultation, either in person at my studio or remotely by phone or Zoom.
